Specify aluminum saw feed direction from a fixed viewing side and named layout ends. Mark where long stock should enter and where cut parts should leave, then ask the supplier to show its offered configuration on that same view. “Left feed” alone does not establish that both parties mean the same arrangement.
The purchasing decision is whether the supplier’s proposed inlet and outlet match the requested locations. Two people can describe the same physical path with opposite left/right wording when they face it from opposite sides. Resolve the viewpoint before treating the words as a configuration difference.
Define aluminum saw feed direction from a fixed viewing side

Use a top-view planning sketch called View V. Place an observer symbol on a chosen side of the plan and give it a facing arrow toward a named, fixed factory reference. All left/right wording in the inquiry should use that observer’s facing direction. The symbol identifies a reading convention, not where an operator must stand.
Name the requested layout ends A and B, tying each to a location on the plan. In this card, A and B identify the ends of the requested equipment arrangement, not the ends of an individual cut component. Keep those names attached to the same locations when comparing replies.
Draw the requested material-flow arrow separately from the viewing arrow. One explains where the observer faces; the other explains the desired stock-to-part direction. Neither describes blade rotation, blade approach, a miter angle or a positioning mechanism.
Read direction as a product-specific offer

elumatec’s SBZ 630–631 page states that the work sequence for the described product family can be arranged from left to right or right to left. That wording does not establish that a delivered machine can be switched between directions on site.
RazorGage’s quotation form asks for direction in product-specific sections. The APS section lists both directions and an unknown response; the AngleMaster section lists a right-to-left response. Those are the visible form choices, not approval of a particular stock section or proof of another supplier’s options.
Use these examples to request the direction of the exact configuration being quoted. A direction available elsewhere in a manufacturer’s range is not automatically an option on the proposed model. These sources establish no JiurunCut direction, mirrored layout or post-delivery change capability.
Send one A-to-B orientation card
Attach the card below to your plan and quotation discussion. The bracketed fields are for actual project references; leave missing information marked “not yet confirmed.” The labels are an original communication aid, not a manufacturer standard or an approved installation drawing.
View V — conceptual request card
Not to scale; supplier layout pending. This card specifies a purchasing request, not an operating arrangement.
Fixed viewing reference: [plan identifier/revision]. Show the observer on [named plan side], facing toward [named factory reference]. Keep this reference with every copy of the view.
End A: the marked physical end requested for long-stock entry.
End B: the marked physical end requested for cut-part exit.
Requested material path: End A → proposed saw position → End B. This is the buyer’s requested route, not confirmation of the supplier’s arrangement.
Control/operating side: supplier to identify on View V. Do not assume the observer’s position names that side.
Supplier return: mark the actual proposed infeed, outfeed and control side on View V. Identify the model/configuration, quotation reference/revision and layout drawing reference/revision. Keep any alternative arrangement and unanswered point explicit.
Do not move the A/B labels simply to make A mean the inlet in every proposal. If a proposed inlet corresponds to the requested B location, show that difference. If the proposed outlet is elsewhere, have the supplier identify it rather than forcing the drawing into the requested path.
If the supplier sends a view from another side, ask it to cross-reference the same fixed factory feature and A/B locations or return its answer on View V. A matched label without a matched physical location does not resolve the question.
Resolve an opposite-view reply
Illustrative communication example—no actual JiurunCut order or approved installation is described. In the buyer’s View V, A appears on the observer’s left and B on the right. The buyer requests A-to-B material flow and calls it left-to-right. A supplier reading the concept from the opposite side calls the path right-to-left.
Buyer-side description: A → B, described as left-to-right from the marked observer.
Opposite-side description: the same A → B path appears right-to-left to someone facing the other way. The observation side has changed; this is not a second, approved mirrored machine.
Bring the reply back to View V. If the supplier marks stock entry at A and part exit at B, the directional words may have described the same requested path. Ask for that shared interpretation to be recorded against the quoted configuration.
If the supplier instead marks entry at B and exit at A on View V, the physical proposal differs from the request. Obtain the arrangement it can supply before deciding whether to proceed. Do not treat a genuine reversal as a wording problem or assume it can be corrected after delivery.
Changing the viewpoint, changing a machine’s placement, specifying a mirrored build and reversing its operation are different propositions. Agreement on a viewing convention establishes none of the others; the supplier must address its actual offered layout.

Ask for the offered layout before agreeing the order
A copyable buyer note can read:
Please use View V on the attached orientation sketch [plan identifier/revision]. End A is our requested long-stock entry and End B our requested cut-part exit. The observer arrow faces the named factory reference on that sketch. Mark the actual infeed, outfeed and control side of your proposed configuration on the same view, with the quotation and layout drawing revisions. If the requested arrangement is unavailable, show the arrangement you can supply and identify any point still awaiting confirmation.
Keep the buyer request and supplier response distinguishable. A catalogue direction or a checked form field is not a substitute for locating the offered ends on the agreed view. When a revised drawing changes those locations, ask for the direction reply to be updated rather than reusing earlier wording.
Even matching A-to-B flow leaves the control side and other physical details to be confirmed. The card does not establish aisle access, service space, compatibility with existing racks or installation suitability. The separate aluminum cutting machine installation guide provides context for that later discussion; it is not the subject of this direction card.
Send the viewing reference with your saw inquiry
Share the section and cutting task, your View V sketch, requested A/B locations and any direction wording already quoted. Mark an undecided control side or layout question plainly. Incomplete information can start clarification.
Clarify My Requested Feed Direction
Ask which arrangement is available for the specific proposal. This article does not establish that JiurunCut offers both feed directions, a mirrored configuration or a later direction change.
