A JR-505CNC Quote: Confirm the Full Machine Description Before Comparing

A quotation that says only “JR-505CNC” leaves an important question open: which machine description and configuration does it refer to? Start by linking the offer to the full product description, then compare the specified equipment and price.

The catalog reviewed for this article contains two entries headed JR-505CNC, with different full descriptions and illustrated layouts. You can use the identity card below to record the intended entry, the supplier's confirmation and anything still unresolved. The catalog entries do not establish which configurations are currently offered or which one a particular quotation covers.

Two catalog descriptions under the same heading

The following names are reproduced from the reviewed catalog to help you locate the entries. They are document references, not new model names assigned by this article.

Full catalog descriptionWhere it appears in the reviewed catalog
新能源汽车角度锯切专机(多头锯) — “New energy vehicle angle sawing machine (Multi-head saw)”Heading JR-505CNC; printed page 13 / PDF page 14
双头自动转角机 — “Double-head automatic corner machine”Heading JR-505CNC; printed page 14 / PDF page 15

The first entry illustrates a dark cabinet with two central viewing windows and a control screen on the right. The second illustrates a white-and-gray cabinet with upper and lower windows and an inclined attachment on the left. These visible differences help you point to the intended catalog illustration. Color or appearance alone does not verify a machine's identity, delivered configuration or suitability for your part.

There is also a naming difference within the second entry: its heading says JR-505CNC, while its model row says “JR-505 Double-head corner saw.” Copy both references when asking for clarification. Do not silently remove or add the CNC suffix to make documents appear consistent.

The automotive wording identifies a catalog entry; it does not establish that automotive work is its only possible use. Your workpiece requirements still need their own confirmation.

Ask the supplier to identify the offer, not just repeat the short model

Send the quotation number and revision together with the full catalog description you believe it refers to. Ask the supplier to confirm that relationship, or identify a different description and configuration document. Do not choose an entry by combining whichever specifications you prefer from the two pages.

A useful written reply identifies the full machine description, the configuration reference and the quotation revision it covers. If it only repeats “JR-505CNC,” keep the entry relationship unconfirmed. You can continue discussing your requirements while that question is open, but you cannot yet treat two offers as quotations for the same identified configuration.

Copy this machine identity card

Complete a separate card for each quotation. Use Unconfirmed where the information is missing; a blank field should not look like an agreement.

   Item that remains unconfirmed:
   Document or clarification needed:
Agreed next action and confirmation stage:

For an existing machine, ask the supplier to connect the overview and nameplate views to that machine and its configuration. For a machine not yet built, record that limitation and ask which specification or configuration drawing defines the proposed supply. Label reference-machine photos accordingly and agree when the eventual machine identification will be checked. A reference photo should not be recorded as a photograph of the future delivered machine.

Resolve discrepancies in the documents

If the full description, model row or configuration reference disagrees, record both versions and their locations. Ask for a clarification tied to the quotation revision. If the discussion changes the proposed machine or configuration, request revised documents and keep the previous revision for traceability.

The identity card does not settle conflicting performance statements in a catalog. Those need a specification for the confirmed configuration and an agreed basis for any checks. Do not turn an unresolved catalog value into a purchase requirement simply because it appears next to a familiar model name.

Once the machine identity is clear, compare fixtures, supports, accessories and responsibilities using the quotation scope comparison guide. That guide covers a different question: what each offer includes. Matching the machine description does not establish that the packages are identical or that either arrangement suits your drawing.

Request a configuration-based quote

When discussing a JR-505CNC proposal with JiurunCut, share your workpiece drawing, the full description you are referring to and the open fields from your identity card. Ask for the proposed configuration to be identified in writing before comparing the offers. This gives the next discussion a specific starting point without assuming that a catalog illustration is your final machine specification.

Source note: This article uses the specific Jiurun catalog file reviewed for this piece, on printed pages 13–14 (PDF pages 14–15). The formal product version represented by that catalog has not been established. Hyphen typography in the English quotations is normalized without changing the model reference or meaning. The names and visible illustrations are used for document identification. They do not confirm current availability, quoted equipment or tested performance.
