Aluminum saw phase monitor: confirm functions.
Aluminum Saw Phase Monitor
Schneider Electric lists phase sequence and loss separately from overvoltage/undervoltage monitoring.
Hypothetical: a provider accepts upper/lower voltage monitoring for an aluminum saw. Purchasing is reviewing the written offer before placing its order.
Its quote confirms phase sequence/loss.

Response
Another relay isn’t automatically required.
An abbreviated description is different from a changed offer. The provider’s reply should identify what it actually promises, rather than leave purchasing to complete that promise by inference. Retain the complete confirmation with the accepted quotation. Keep both records available to the person placing the order. For a shortened description, ask the seller to identify the quotation line being clarified and to state whether its reply changes the original offer or merely explains it. Keep the seller’s clarification beside that line.
One voltage limit does not confirm both. Do not substitute an answer to a different question for the response being requested.
Order
Assess complete alternatives against the agreed job. Purchasing should not combine selected assurances from separate offers and call the resulting package supplier-approved. The customer must decide which complete proposal to accept.
Without confirmation, the decision remains pending. The customer may decide to consider a revised request, but purchasing should not silently make that change to turn an incomplete quotation into an accepted one.
Record the supplier, quotation reference and accepted version in the purchase decision. If a revised proposal is accepted, state which earlier offer it replaces. The order should reproduce the agreed promise rather than a broader summary assembled afterwards. Preserve an unanswered question explicitly, so a later reader can distinguish pending clarification from an accepted change.
