Aluminum saw motor insulation does not confirm a temperature-rise commitment.
Aluminum saw motor insulation
ABB links insulation class to winding heat tolerance; a higher class does not necessarily mean hotter operation.
Hypothetical purchasing example: a factory is selecting a new saw for a defined aluminum-profile order. The customer has settled the equipment requirement, and purchasing is comparing complete supplier proposals against it.
Offer
The buyer requests a temperature-rise category; the quotation confirms only an insulation class.

During the offer review, purchasing marks the request as answered. The seller clarifies that its statement covers the named item, not the entire request. That clarification narrows the buyer’s interpretation; it does not establish that the offered machine is defective.
The same motor could meet both requirements, but the quotation has not established that. A clarification can therefore complete the response without creating a new equipment selection. The buyer should not invent that answer on the supplier’s behalf.
Decision
If the provider confirms the requested provision for the complete arrangement, purchasing can retain that commitment in the order. If it proposes a different arrangement, the buyer should compare the complete alternative rather than combine a favorable statement from one offer with components from another.
If the provider cannot give that commitment, the requirement remains open. The customer may consider a clearly described alternative, but purchasing should not silently change the request just to make an incomplete answer appear acceptable. Record the customer’s acceptance before replacing the original request with that alternative.
Record temperature-rise commitments separately from insulation class in the order.
