The seller may be using a shortened description of a complete accepted package. Or the line may describe exactly the limited supply it intends to make. Those are different commercial commitments, and purchasing should not choose the more favorable interpretation for the seller.
Ask the supplier to confirm the full arrangement. The question belongs with the provider that made the offer; another vendor’s proposal does not confirm the original seller’s intended supply. Keep the original request and the seller’s reply as separate records, so a purchasing summary does not expand either statement.

A complete answer may support retaining the original proposal. Keep that response with the order. Keep each dated response with that quotation.
